I have been at PAA since September of 2001. I came to Durango from my hometown of Lancaster, California in 1995. An alumna of Fort Lewis College, I graduated with my degree in Geology in 2000 and had a great time doing so! I completed my Masters degree in Nonprofit Management through Regis University during the summer of 2004 and became PAA's director in September of 2008. I thoroughly enjoy my job and all of the people I work with--students, staff, administration and faculty.

When I'm not at work, I enjoy camping, bike-riding, backpacking, and watching goofy movies. I love Mexican food and visiting new places; I am getting more comfortable with flying--something that makes my hands sweat buckets. I love to watch scientific documentaries, especially ones about outer space and natural disasters. My life-long dream? To see the northern lights as bright as they can be!
