Biography

I am very thankful for achieving my biggest goal: completing my undergraduate education here at Fort Lewis College, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Art & American Indian Studies, and a minor in Heritage Preservation. It was a journey that I never expected to take, but with much effort and patience I was able to fulfill it. If it were not for my grandparents’ teachings and life values, I probably would not have been able to continue with my studies. It was the positive energy they gave me that helped me deal with all the struggles that might otherwise have kept me from completing my education. I believe that we all have the road of opportunity in front of us, and all we need to do to get there is to see the bright side, even though we know that there will be some obstacles to face. I am very proud to be part of your goal of completing your education here at Fort Lewis College. I want you all to know that there is an end to the rainbow, and your diploma will be waiting for you there!
