Who is Eligible to Participate?

You are eligible to participate in PAA if you are enrolled at Fort Lewis College (or accepted for enrollment), are a U.S. citizen, are working toward your first Bachelor's degree, AND you can answer "YES" to at least one of the following questions:

1. Neither of your parents (nor your legal guardian) had a Bachelor’s degree before you became 18 years old;

2. You applied for financial aid and received a Pell grant;

3. You have a documented disability.

If you answered "YES" to at least one of these questions, you may be eligible and should apply to PAA. Come to Juniper Hall (in front of Reed Library) and pick up an application. You can also request an application to be sent to you by calling 970-247-7692.

You can begin using program services after you have been accepted into PAA and have completed your second intake session. PAA serves over 200 students each year and new participants are accepted until all available spaces are filled.
